Love has so many faces. We can be friends. I have read some books with limited characters before, but very few of them are that touching.

This really is a feel good kind of book, highly entertaining and something I could relate to. ETA After the 4th or is it 5th re read I'm changing my rating. There is only one word for Al - he's adorable.

I did a reread yesterday, and have to say, for all of you who have this book and haven't read it yet, please do it now! I definitely disliked a last minute twist, but its resolution is wonderful. This deserves a better review than I'm giving it, but mostly, just read this book. And, obviously, the book very gently explores a lot of musxling issues closest to my heart: She was, for me, totally over the top, almost like a caricature.

Al says what muscing thinking and exactly what he's feeling First I have the man of my dreams. But if I ever thrpugh my own Tnrough Al in this world I hope I'll be intelligent enough to grab his at his ankles and never let go that chance at happiness. And here I was at a risk of losing them because I just couldn't stop smiling! Al is a blue collar guy living in Cambridge, he looks kind of rough and people kind of blow him off because he's not so 'smart' This little gem is quite an eye-opener.

No, he's too happy to have his Larry back. A new author obsession has definitely been sparked!

I didn't feel that way, really; rather, I was charmed by Al's POV and misunderstandings and thought he was really precious and unique. Oh yeah, everything by Alexis Hall. Least of all Larry's class-conscious family, who would like nothing better than to split up this mismatched pair. It's just a perfect little jewel of a book.

It felt refreshing in it's simplicity. What that they have in common -- apart from desire, and then love -- is, hilariously enough, sensitivity.
